Addition and Subtraction/Fact Fluency: The following link contains addition videos and addition fact progression cards. There are links at the bottom of the page for fact fluency cards in multiplication, division and subtraction. Sample Activity: Have your child write numbers in multiple ways (ex. 7500, Seven thousand five hundred, 7000+ 500, Seventy- five hundred, 7500 is greater than 4300 ect) Data and Graphing: Create and interpret Bar graphs and Pictographs. Sample Activity: Have your child talk to family and friends to find out their favorite sport/ice cream/season and create a graph to show the results. Date and Time: Understand ways to read and write time (12- and 24- hour clocks) and dates. Sample activity: Have your child draw an 12 hour clock and give them a time to draw on the clock. Ex: show me 12:10 or show me quarter to five. Ask your child to write the date in multiple ways (Wednesday, May 13th, 2020, 13/05/20, 05/13/20) |
